TRIM YOUR WICK
During initial lighting of your candle, be sure to burn for at least 3 hours to avoid tunneling of the wax.
Between uses, trim the wick to ¼ inch each time. Long, untrimmed wicks can cause uneven burning, high flames, smoking or sooting. Use a wick trimmer or scissors to trim the wick.
Keep the candle wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
Before re-lighting your candle, let the candle cool down completely (a candle takes roughly two hours to cool down). Trim the wick and check for unwanted drafts.
